“Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

‘Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.'”

– Luke 2:13-14

Our 25 Days of Christmas continues with this awesome post (and a pretty cool picture, too, if I do say so myself…). I just realized is that it is only 9 days until Christmas! This means that Found Who I Am just has 9 more days to post Christmas posts (cri). We better get busy…

Anyway, as I was perusing Luke 2 for ideas on what my post should be about, I came to the verse above, “Glory to God in the highest heaven and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.” I don’t know about you, but if our Lord and Savior had just been born right before me, I would be doing something along the lines of that. Imagine the praise and joy that was taking place at that moment!

I know that you have heard it before, but I’d like to reiterate it. Christmas is not about gifts, or Santa, or cookies, or dessert, or bacon, or anything like that! (Well, maybe bacon could be because maybe there was probably a pig in the stable… something to definitely think about.) Christmas is about the wonderful, indescribable gift that God gave us that night. So, rejoice! Christ is here!

(On a slightly off topic note, be sure to pray for the families of the 140+ children who were killed in a deadly shooting put on by the Taliban in a Pakistan school.)

God Bless!

Howdy! I’m Collin, 16 years old, and a homeschooled junior. I play the piano, ukulele, and many sports. I’m far from perfect, and that’s why I love to share (through this blog) what God is showing me in His word. Although I have many favorite Bible verses, if I had to choose one it would be Romans 12:12, Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” I believe that prayer is the most powerful tool we are given as Christians and it should not be taken for granted. Toodles!
