Our Country

‘If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

-2 Chronicles 7:14

First of all, I’m back! I want to apologize for taking such a long time off from posting…I’ve had a lot going on recently!

Today is September 10. Tomorrow will be the anniversary of when our nation was attacked by terrorists. If you or someone you’re related to is or was in the military, on behalf of all of us here at FWIA, I would like to give a big thank you for your service for our country. My dad and mom (and Collin’s) were in the Air Force for many years, so we know firsthand of the sacrifice that’s demanded of those who are in the military.

It’s not to hard to see that our country is moving farther away from God. This should be a big red flag to us. God, in a way, gave us this country where we could worship Him freely. It was established on Christian principles, and as a result, has flourished. Unfortunately, the less we recognize God, the less our country becomes. This trend is right before our eyes.

Our nation needs revival. We need to turn back to Christ. If we continue down this path, there will come a point when it will be almost impossible to go back. We need to elect Godly leaders, pray for our leaders, lead people to Christ, and pray for revival. God promises throughout Scripture that He hears us when we repent.

Right now, our country needs to repent. Our country needs revival. Our country needs Christ.

In Christ,
