God’s Creation

Before I begin, I would like to apologize for our slacking off regarding to posting on Found Who I Am. We want to bring you daily encouragement and help in your walk with God, but sometimes we fall short.

Now to the good stuff.

As many of you know, Christopher and I recently went on vacation out to the western part of the United States. It was beautiful. The purple mountains majesty, the fruited plains, the crystal clear waters, the vibrant-colored rainbows, and the thunderous waterfalls were just a few things that put us in awe of God’s creation.

If you’ve been to Yellowstone National Park, you know what I am talking about. The picture above is just one of the many beautiful shots that I got. At night, when you stare up into the sky, you could literally see the Milky Way galaxy. It was unlike anything I have experienced before in my life.

For me, the hardest thing to comprehend is that with a wave of God’s hand, this was all created (of course, the Great Flood probably had something to do with the changes in terrain). I cannot wrap my mind around that. If you can, I’d love for you to tell me how.

God (obviously) has powers beyond any thing else. Do not take that for granted. He has created this world and everything in it for us to enjoy it (and care for it). I strongly encourage you to do so.

Until tomorrow,

~ Collin

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Howdy! I’m Collin, 16 years old, and a homeschooled junior. I play the piano, ukulele, and many sports. I’m far from perfect, and that’s why I love to share (through this blog) what God is showing me in His word. Although I have many favorite Bible verses, if I had to choose one it would be Romans 12:12, Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” I believe that prayer is the most powerful tool we are given as Christians and it should not be taken for granted. Toodles!
