“not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another–and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” -Hebrews 10:25
If you’ve been reading this blog over the last couple days, you’ve noticed that Collin and I are in the middle of a long road trip with our family. Whenever we are gone from home for an extended period of time, one of the sad things for our family is that we are not able to see our church family on Sunday. Why? Because when we come together as the body of Christ, we are edified and encouraged in our walk with Christ.
Hebrews 10:25 (top of page) says that we as Christians should not neglect to meet together because there are many benefits to it. If you don’t have a church family, get one! However, don’t take the decision of choosing your church lightly. Make sure that it is lined up with Scripture, and that it will accomplish the purpose for which God established it.
