3. SSR: June (Wyatt)

I have to admit, I have never heard this song before in my life. However, I can assure you that I will listen to it a lot more. What a great song!

2. Lesson 105: Conflict and How to Handle It (Christopher)

So many times, conflict has torn the best friendships and ideas in two. Make sure to read this very informative post on how to deal with conflict, because it will come up!

1. Lesson 106: Core Beliefs (Christopher)

I love these weekly lessons. This one in particular hit off on me. We have to have a strong foundation in what we believe and why. Otherwise, what is our belief worth? 1 Peter 3:15 says, “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.

QOTW: “The faster the problem is resolved, the better it is for everyone involved, including you. You know that if you don’t resolve the conflict, everything can get really ugly really fast. If everyone in a family that lived together decided not to allow any room for compromise in their selfishness, that place would be a wreck.” – Lesson 105: Conflict and How to Handle It (Christopher)

HIRL: It’s the World Cup! I’ve waited four years for June 2014 to roll around and it’s finally here! There’s already been some pretty sweet goals, including my favorite:

Stay calm – Christ is coming back someday,

~ Collin

IMPORTANT! Wyatt is going to take a month break from posting on the blog. In the meantime, other writers (including myself) will fill in for his posting days.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Howdy! I’m Collin, 16 years old, and a homeschooled junior. I play the piano, ukulele, and many sports. I’m far from perfect, and that’s why I love to share (through this blog) what God is showing me in His word. Although I have many favorite Bible verses, if I had to choose one it would be Romans 12:12, Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” I believe that prayer is the most powerful tool we are given as Christians and it should not be taken for granted. Toodles!
