5. Lesson 101- Secondary Issues, Don’t Let Them Become Dividing Issues (Christopher)
The title is pretty descriptive, so I don’t know if I can add anything else. But, so many times we let little things become bigger things, when they don’t need to be. I recently heard a quote, “You can be right, or you can be happy. You can’t be both.” This simply means that don’t fight over the little things that don’t matter. Let them slide.
4. What Happened on Friday (Christopher)
I love street preaching! I’m really sad I wasn’t able to go, but I’m so thrilled at how many people were there evangelizing and spreading the Good News! I encourage you all to try street preaching some time, it’s a fun experience!
3. Lesson 103: Give and Take (Christopher)
To get along with people in life, you do have to give a little of what you want to do to make things work. I can tell you for sure that Wyatt, Christopher, and I have each given at least a little (them more than I) to make this blog work! You need to learn this in life!
2. What About The Eye? (Wyatt)
A great reminder by Wyatt that we’re not supposed to just look at people as they are, but what could be bad in their life at that time and how we might be able to help them!
1. Underestimated Underdogs (Wyatt)
I have recently said to my self multiple times, “Self, you can never do that until you’re older!” or “Self, you just can’t do that. There’s no way.” The wonderful news is (ready for cheesy?) you can do everything if you try your best! In all seriousness, though, this is a true statement. Put your mind to it and try really hard, and you can probably do it. Ask God to help you. For me, it’s easier that way.
QOTM: “Don’t allow yourself to be underestimated. Do something amazing. Change the world.” – Underestimated Underdogs (Wyatt)
HIRL: The Kentucky Derby and Oaks were last Friday and Saturday! Untapable won the Oaks and California Chrome the Derby! Fun fact: I’ve picked the winner of the Oaks the past four years, and also picked 1, 2, and 4 on the Derby. But, no, I don’t bet…
I have to say, I’m not looking forward to the heat that June brings, but thank God that he has brought us all another month!
Until next time,
