Ok, so I’ve been praying about what to post today. I was thinking about something encouraging and uplifting, maybe. But then I realized: what good would my post be if you don’t decide to change?
In life, we make several excuses. “It’s too hard!” is most common. Several others such as “I really want that to be me, but I don’t want to do the work” and “Well, I just can’t do that” are just a couple more. As always in my posts, I ask that you be honest! I’m not going to sugarcoat it: grow up. You have to want to change yourself. If I suggest that you stop being a hypocrite and all, like I did in my last post, “Operation: Impact,” you have to want to not be a hypocrite. I can make it as motivating as possible, but what good is it if you don’t do anything about it?
Take responsibility for your own actions. Grow up and follow God the way that He wants you to. If necessary, give up anything that is keeping you from doing that. An intimate relationship with God is the ultimate prize. Are you going to follow Him in everything you do? It’s up to you!
