Hello again! It’s way too cold for me. I’m the kind of guy who prefers intense heat over intense cold. Unfortunately for me, my family has traveled to Granger, IN this week….where the highs are consistently in the teens or single digits, and where the lows are below freezing. Looks like fun. Looks like I’ll be staying inside.
Anyway, With all of the record setting cold weather hitting the U.S. right now, I thought that it would be a great idea to start a series on really warm places that are breathtaking to look at! I mean, when we’re in January (when it’s already pretty cold) with an extra cold weather front moving through, we need encouragement. We need to see that Summer is right around the corner (sort of). So, our first post in this series is….Hawaii! How could you not love Hawaii? Even if you’ve never been there, the pictures are simply incredible. Here are a few I found:
And now for some facts about Hawaii:
It is made up of eight main islands and several smaller ones. Volcanic activity is active there. As a state, there is a variety of landscapes: there are steep cliffs, volcanic activity, rain forests, beaches, waterfalls, and mountains. It is filled with various flora and fauna. And finally, in winter, temperatures during the day are in the low to mid 80s. At night, it rarely gets below 60 degrees.
Hawaii is another testament to the creativity of an awesome Creator. Let us give praise and glory to Him in all things. Stay warm!
